Sports and Reading go Hand in Hand with Golden State Warriors

James Michael McAdoo and Coach Bruce Fraser from the Golden State Warriors visited R.F. Kennedy Elementary School today as part of the team’s Back to School in the Bay campaign. Additionally, members of the team’s game operations staff, Read Partners, Ross Stores Representatives, Superintendent of Schools, Juan Cruz, Board Member Omar Torres, and other Franklin-McKinley School District staff participated in today's event.

"A huge thank you to the Golden State Warriors Organization, Reading Partners, and Ross Stores for their support of Kennedy students and stressing the importance of reading," said Superintendent Juan Cruz. "Reading is a fundamental function in today's global society, it develops the mind, and allows are students imaginations to grow."
